This year Birmingham is hosting the Commonwealth Games.
Last night was the opening of Birmingham Festival 2022. Wonderous Stories is taking place in Centenary Square today and Sunday, show times are 18:30 and 20:30.
It is a spectacular open-air show. A mixture of dance and circus artists. People flying up the outside of the Library, Illuminated books, projections, dancing, so much to see. 322 costumes have been designed and realised by 20 local students in the last 6 months with 16 dance groups and 2 collaborative partners- OPUS and Motionhouse.
From what I’ve seen on a friends facebook page this is an event not to be missed. So if you are in Birmingham this weekend go and see it, we would if we were there.
